Dear Joe,
Wow Wee! Your presentation was one in a million! I can't
wait for you to come back and visit the rest of our schools
here in Victoria. My main goal was to set you up with our
Region 111 for in-service. Since you left, we did it! Our
Staff Development Co-ordinator will be contacting you to
schedule you for in-service next September.
You need to be heard in every school district throughout the
U.S.A. ! I have taught school for 21 years and have never
heard a more outstanding presentation than yours. The
students were so excited and after you left they wanted more
of your poems read to them.
I must say Joe-- Your teacher's guide on how to write a poem
is worth a million dollars in gold! You captivated the
students and they were really ready to give it a try.
I sincerely wish and want every school district in the U.S.
to hear you and bring writing poetry back to schools.
Students need to know the dynamic experience writing can be.

Your poetry fits the "Whole Language" approach and
incorporates the use of writing skills in a basic step by
step program which the very young can easily grasp. For this
reason PLEASE make yourself available for every teacher

Having been a coach and judge for UIL Oral Reading
