I write poems and rhyming stories. The
illustrations are created by my wife, Karol, who
was an art instructor in the Dallas ISD.
Together we have published five books. Three
are poem books and two are rhyming stories. I
have found that life is a pleasure when you
enjoy what you do.

Joe is not your ordinary author. He is a regular
guy who likes to have fun. He helps his wife Karol,
who illustrates his books, raise miniature horses.
Joe builds barns, fences, hangs gates, install
electrical lines and does all the water plumbing and
machinery repair. He is very efficient with a
paintbrush. |
"Writing"
When I was young, poetry was not one of my
favorite types of reading. In fact, I didn't read
much of anything. So... why am I writing poetry
today? I have learned to enjoy writing and reading
what I write. I write poems that make reading
poetry an enjoyable experience and attempt to create an
interest in both children and adults to write poems for
themselves. It seems that everyday situations have
a unique way of recalling fond memories for everyone,
regardless of age. When you locate the poems that
remind you of yourself, immediately you'll see that you
can't help but "GRIN-A-BIT."
