Co., Inc." was created by Author Joe Larke
in 1986, and was incorporated in the State of
Texas in July 1991. The corporation is
located in scenic Rockwall, a suburb of Dallas,
Texas. We market Joe Larke's poetry books,
author visits, speaking engagements, and other
related products. Our focus is on the
development of educational material and services
that demonstrate reading and writing can be used
in exciting and rewarding activities that can be
enjoyed by everyone.
Joe is one of those rare individuals blessed
with the gift of being able to motivate students
with his presentation. A Joe Larke
presentation is an unforgettable experience for
students and teachers alike. Students are
excited to discover how easy it is to write
simple, fun poems. Teachers welcome Joe's easy
to understand method, which can easily be put to
use in the classroom. The message Joe
delivers is as simple as this,
"if I can do it... so can you".
He
tells the students that everyone has interesting
life experiences and a boundless imagination
which can be used to create poetry. It is fun
to express your imagination and experiences in
poems. With the aid of an overhead projector,
songs from his poems that are set to music,
Dopie Dope and me "Sandyman", the presentations
are entertaining and educational. Many
teachers describe the program with only one
word, "WOW".

Larke is an accomplished speaker. He
has addressed groups at a variety of
functions. His experience ranges from
after dinner speaker to keynote
address. Joe draws from an
extraordinary background. He has been
involved in activities as diverse as
operating a silver reclamation company
to painting houses. He speaks about his
love of writing, the difficulties he has
faced as an author, the creation and
development of the Dopie Dope character
featured in his rhyming stories. All
programs are tailored to the group being
addressed. The address will end on a

always....never give up on your
