About Joe Larke
Quality Time in Rhythm and Rhyme
JOE LARKE is not your ordinary author. He was a slow reader in school and did poorly on exams. Reading was NOT a priority
for him. He read many poems he never understood. What a
bore, he thought. Now Joe writes his own poetry and his desire
is to provide encouragement for others who may be interested in
writing but have no idea how to get started.
Joe's manual, A SIMPLE WAY TO WRITE FUN POEMS, is
designed to help teachers share his love of writing poetry with their
students. It demonstrates practical techniques that teachers, at
any level, can employ to help students learn to write as well as
develop an appreciation for it.
Joe is a Poet/Author, Speaker and Motivator who has published
five books. His style of writing is so simple it puts joy into the
writing process. The Joe Larke method of writing creates a level
of interest in which reluctant readers find themselves reading
more and enjoying it.
Joe's style of teaching will:
Joe says, writing allows for self-expression and an opportunity to be creative. Exercising the imagination is personal and unlimited. Creative thinking develops ideas while pretending puts them in
motion.
Students will love Dopie Dope, Joe's favorite character, as many
will be able to relate to a lot of his situations and misadventures.
Joe's other three poem books will definitely capture students
attention and cause them to GRIN-A-BIT.
(Joe's company name).
So, here's your opportunity to open a child's world to the JOYS of
poetry and the WONDERS of imagination, with Joe's delightful
series of entertaining and educational books.
